The New Cooperation Projects with Neighboring Countries Considered
On August 8, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a meeting on enhancing cooperation with the Central Asian countries.
The partnership with the Central Asian States is developing dynamically. The volume of Uzbekistan’s trade with them has increased to 2,5 times and exceeded $6 billion over the past five years. In Uzbekistan, 1,7 thousand companies have been established owing to the funds from the neighboring countries.
The new projects and proposals for enhancing the economic cooperation with the Central Asian countries were discussed at the meeting.
The issue of developing and maintaining a national rating of investment attractiveness of the regions for further developing the small and medium-sized businesses in the country was considered.
The President gave the specific instructions on the issues discussed at the meeting.
